The hammam towels are manufactured responsibly in Turkey, the country where the tradition of making them originated. The production holds several international certifications, such as Oeko-Tex®, Sedex, GOTS, GRS, and ISO.

Approximately 45% of the energy required for production is met by solar energy. In addition, more than 500 women from local village communities participate in the production of the towels by hand-knotting the fringes.

Care instructions

• Tighten the fringe knots before the first wash.
• Cotton shrinks by about 7–10% in the first wash.
